Welcome Homeschoolers

The IUPUI SPAN Division early college opportunity is committed to helping families who are homeschooling their children. We understand that there are many reasons for deciding to homeschool and that each student’s situation is different. Whatever your reason, we will work with you. Since 1984, SPAN has served hundreds of homeschooled students, and it has been a great fit.

The SPAN Division early college experience offers high school students the opportunity to:

• Earn high school and college credits simultaneously (dual credit)
• Get an early start on their college degree
• Explore over 180 majors offered at the IUPUI campus

Currently, over 60% of our SPAN student population is comprised of homeschooled students! Our home-educated students have performed exceedingly well and are by far our top academic achievers.

Imagine the prestige that will be added to your college application when you attach both your high school transcript and your college transcript from IUPUI. And remember, IUPUI’s SPAN participants earn FULL COLLEGE CREDIT from IU or Purdue through an early college program that has enjoyed a 100% transfer rate to colleges and universities across the nation and around the world.
