Orientation: Before You Attend

Orientation is key to preparing you for the beginning of your first semester.  We can't do it alone though; here are a few items we need for you to complete before coming to your orientation so that everything runs as smooth as possible.

• Create your username and passphrase at http://itaccounts.iu.edu.
  These two items will be necessary when you register using Onestart, to check your email, and more.  Don't wait to do this step, in most cases you will have to wait up to 24 hours until it becomes active.
• Complete the English Self-Guided Placement Survey (ESP) at http://english.uc.iupui.edu.
  This survey is used to allow student to assess their current writing abilities for accurate placement into one of IUPUI's writing courses: W131, W130, or W140.  If you have already taken one of these classes or an equivalent, you are exempt from taking the survey.
• Complete the Immunization Compliance Form located on Onestart.
  Just visit http://registrar.iupui.edu/meningitis.html for step-by-step instructions.

After these tasks, you are ready for orientation!  Kick back and relax knowing that your halfway to your first semester at IUPUI!
