Orientation: After You Attend

Although orientation was developed to completely prepare you for your first day at IUPUI, there are a few things you should take care of after your orientation. The list below will provide links and information for you to ensure that you get everything done in time for the start of the semester!
Buy your parking permit.
If you're planning on driving to campus then you'll definitely need a student parking permit. Parking without a permit will result in citations and possibly your car getting towed! Permits can be purchased by semester or for a whole year!
Check out Onestart.
Onestart is a web portal where you can find everything from your Bursar bill to how to how to update your address. Onestart is also how you registered for classes during orientation. Take a few minutes to look through all of the useful features of Onestart!
Buy your textbooks.
You'll need books for pretty much all of your classes. The IUPUI Bookstore enables you to order and reserve your course textbooks online. Select from new or used and drop by the bookstore to pick them all up. Don't forget to purchase some new IUPUI gear to show your school spirit!
Load up your Jagtag.
That's more than a campus ID in your wallet. The Jagtag can hold money a be used all across campus at vendors, vending machines, and more. The fun doesn't stop there - your Jagtag also gets you discounts all over Indianapolis and is your FREE ticket into any IUPUI home sporting event!
Walk your classes.
It may sound weird, but make sure to come to campus at least a week before the semester begins to find all of your classrooms in advance. They are all conveniently located on the class schedule you made and printed at orientation. Can't find yours? Just log onto Onestart and print of a new one!
Find out what's happening at Weeks of Welcome (WOW).
Okay, the WOW actually begin after the semester begins, but we want to make sure you are their to find out everything important about IUPUI. Grab some great food, find out about an organization you'd like to join, or just hang out in the courtyard to see who's around.
